Notes:	Please refer to the notes in the back section of the website on gemstone information. I personally visited this site closed permanently ~1997 in 1995 on a rock hunting trip to the USA. Because of the closure this material is quite rare and desirable. Flaw free or lightly flawed material is extra rare as much of the material is heavily fractured and clean (small) stones are cut from between the cracks if possible. the material comes in clear purple and blue an also as purple or blue agtae with fortification lines. The purple material is sometimes called "calapooia purple" from the nearby Calapooia River. This particular drop shaped cab is absolutely free of cracks or inclusions and has beautiful white fortification lines on the narrow top end of the cab ...this is also a relatively large sized cabochon these days being crack free... I only have a very limited amount of this material and in my opinion the price offered is below comparable wholesale.
