Notes:	This is very rare gemmy purple agate/chalcedony that comes from a remote, rough access, area of North-East NSW. The area is completely closed down and worked out now with access not allowed I'm reliably told. The miner who found the fluke deposit, carried everything out on his back through rough terrain on various trips over several years. Most of the material was clear chalcedony and very light blue to grey chalcedony and agate. a small percentage was mid and deep blue and the rare piece being pupple of various grades. this cabochon was part of a fractured dark nodule that had very clean glowing purple sections inside and was the accidental king (for me) of the whole parcel, one of several I bought over a few years. This purple (actually three distinct layers) is possibly the finest I have ever seen in 35+ years of cutting. as usual, I've cut it to maximise beauty, shape and size with the emphasis on artistry and aesthetics. this would make a stunning addition to any jewerrery piece, This initial wholesale price offer is in my opinion below true wholesale value.
