Notes:	A quite large oval cabochon from Coober Pedy. This large cabochon I have had for many years ... apart from minor adjustments, I didn't cut it but acquired it at the request of an old friend and opal shop owner from Sydney who was finally retiring and handing over full contyol of his opal shops in Sydney, Adelaide and Perth etc to his sons and daughters. but sold off a small opal collection to hid friends to raise a bit of retirement cash...Because I've had this opal for many years now, and it was mined many years before that, I can be extremely confident that it is stable. Colours are lively bright twinkles seen at all angles.
