| Notes: | A beautiful fancy cabochon of the unique Western Australian Tiger Iron, showcasing alternating twisted bands of Tiger Eye, Ironstone and Jasper. This is a very messy stone to cut and polish and requires extensive cleaning of the red powerdered ironstone but the end result is certainly worth it, Care and attention must be taken when shaping to orientate the tiger eye layers to show maximum brilliance. This material is unique in the world to the remote north Western Australia region. Massive pieces are found but as with all gemstone only some is A grade and polishes well...but careful selection and skill allows beautiful unique cabochons to be created.
