Notes:	A beautiful solid full royal blue vein of gem opal twisted into nique "whale tail" shape. This is a rare opportunity for a setter to get a unique and much loved iconic shape to make a beautiful piece of jewellery albeit a challenging exercise. This is dense fine grained classic dark brown/black ironstone from Karoit opal field in Western Queensland. The deep blue colour is underlaint by black manganese silicate and is constant from all angles with one or two subtle flecks of green. Priced very reasonably at field price of $AU75 per ct, this opal has a further discount for a limited time to celebrate the website launch.
