| Notes: | This is a large freeform that I started demonsrtating when opal cutting at the Lightning Ridge Opal Festival two years ago. It has beautiful pastel and floral greens and blues across the whole surface. Polished all over with good depth and a very solid stone an experienced setter will set with ease. The seller was selling his deceased father's collection of rough opal that had been in storage for many years. Although his dad mined mainly in Mintabie SA, this material and the type of rough could very well have come from Lightning Ridge? I had the stone valued (field price for opal buyers) by the Lightning Ridge Miners Associalion Valuation Service. To celebrate the website launch for a limited time, it has a discount applied. |
