| Notes: | This is my second competition freeform done for our national gem competition (1997) and it came first in the open division. It was cut and polished entirely on my 6" lapidary machine as I was experiminting with this cutting style and trying to add artistic design to these shapes. This win and my previous win spurred me on to experiment further using only top quality gemstone materials. It's been in my personal collection and on displays and much admired. this beautiful piece from the famous "Flannigans Area" with a long flowing triangle shape has a dramatic central "EYE" encased in stark pure white layers on each side. Truely, a collector piece for several reasons. The price I'm asking is very low for agate of this quality, cutting and heritage and I'm even including a discount for a limited time to celebrate the website launch. Very much more time and effort goes into cutting competition stones to a high degree of perfection...but I enjoy the artistic challenge ... |
